The Field Watch.

Inspired by the utilitarian style of military watches from the early 20th century, the solar-powered Field Watch was built around a three-part, 38mm casing machined from 316L steel with hybrid 12h + 24h markings.

The Japanese-made movement was powered by a solar cell engineered to sit underneath the dial. Both natural and artificial light activates the cell, making it easy to maintain without loss in performance. One sunny day can charge the battery for up to five months.

A selection of leather, rubber, and high-performance nylon straps were offered, all made in Germany or Italy from a single piece of material that fits the fixed lug design of the casing.

Taking cues from historical field kits, the watch also shipped with a selection of care equipment, including a recycled RPET microfibre cloth.
